As this link to leagle.com reveals, Robert Abalos was disbarred by the Washington, D.C. bar effective October 21, 2010 after he failed to show cause for why he should not be disbarred just like he was in Virginia and Massachusetts.
It's official: there's no way in hell that Robert J. Abalos could ever call himself a lawyer, attorney, counsel, or ever use "Esq." after his name after being disbarred three times -- all for stealing money from people over the Internet and then having the gall to blame them and falsely accuse them of alleged criminal activity.
May this be a stark lesson to Internet con men like Robert Abalos everywhere: crime does not pay.

Please, if anybody just stumbled upon this site and considering doing business with Abalos, read the posts on this blog. It's more than clear that this is not an honorable man. We have heard from former associates and even former roommates and it's clear this man is a serial liar and petty theif.
